Sales timing

also: timing signals, buying windows

The principle that most outbound fails on when you reach an account, not who you reach, and that timing is researchable.

Sales timing is the hypothesis that response and conversion can vary depending on when a message arrives. A recent raise, reorganization, or launch may change priorities, but it does not prove that budget or attention is available for a particular offer.

Because some timing context comes from observable events, it can be researched. Teams should verify the event and test whether it is actually connected to their offer rather than treating recency as purchase intent.

This reframes outbound from a volume game to a timing game: fewer, better-timed touches on accounts whose windows are open now.

How Intakra treats it

Intakra is a timing-oriented research tool. It ranks supported event records for selected accounts and prepares a reviewable why-now draft without determining that an account is ready to buy.
